Bakuchiol

Bakuchiol, also known as natural Retinol, is an oil extracted from the Babchi plant. It has long been used in traditional Indian and Chinese medicine to treat a variety of skin ailments. Bakuchiol is a green alternative to retinol that is used in a lot of skincare products to reduce fine lines, breakouts, or dark spots. The downside of Retinol is that it is quite harsh on the skin. Bakuchiol was discovered to give the same benefits as Retinol without the side effects of Retinol like dryness and burning.
